The Challenge
Teenage pregnancy often marks the end of a girl’s education and the beginning of a cycle of poverty. Furthermore, the lack of access to menstrual hygiene products—”Period Poverty”—leads to thousands of girls missing school days every month.
Our Strategic Response
We provide a dual-layered support system that addresses both the immediate biological needs and long-term economic resilience.
Dignity Support: The distribution of “Dignity Packs” containing sanitary towels and hygiene essentials to reduce school absenteeism.
Psychosocial Wellbeing: Mentorship programs designed to help young mothers overcome social stigma and regain self-confidence.
Livelihood Training: Short-course vocational training that allows teen mothers to earn a living while caring for their families.
Impact Pillars
Health & Hygiene: Advancing menstrual health and personal dignity.
Educational Continuity: Ensuring teen mothers and at-risk girls stay in the classroom.
Resilience Building: Equipping girls with the skills to break the cycle of poverty.
